At Hooked on Fishing, LLC, fishing isn’t just a business — it’s a way of life. Founded and operated by Steve and Debbie Lyons, our family-owned guide service is built on more than four decades of marriage, outdoor tradition, and a passion for helping others discover the joy of fishing.
We specialize in guided fishing trips on Lake Somerville, offering everything from half-day outings to full-day adventures targeting white bass, hybrid stripers, crappie, and catfish. But more than anything, we specialize in making you feel like part of the family from the moment you step aboard.
My name is Steve Lyons, and together with my wife Debbie, we've built a life centered around family, faith, and fishing. After 43 years of marriage, raising a daughter, and making lifelong memories with our four grandchildren, we knew it was time to share our love for the outdoors with others.
We launched Hooked on Fishing, LLC to give families, beginners, and seasoned anglers a chance to connect with nature — and each other — on the peaceful waters of Lake Somerville. What started as weekend outings with our grandkids has turned into a full-time guide service rooted in patience, teaching, and creating unforgettable moments on the lake.
Whether it’s a child catching their very first fish or a grandparent sharing the water with their grandkids, we believe in the power of fishing to bring people together.
