Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a trip?
You can book online through our Booking Page, where you’ll find real-time availability for half-day (AM or PM) and full-day trips. Once booked, we’ll follow up with all the info you need before your trip.
Do I need to bring my own gear?
Nope! We provide everything:
Rods and reels
- Tackle and bait
- Life jackets (adult and child sizes)
- Safety equipment
- Fish cleaning and bagging
Just bring sunscreen, snacks, drinks, and a valid Texas fishing license (ages 17+).
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes. All anglers 17 years or older must have a valid Texas freshwater fishing license. You can purchase one online at tpwd.texas.gov or at local sporting goods stores.
Children under 17 do not need a license.
What happens in bad weather?
We closely monitor weather conditions. If the weather poses a safety concern (high winds, lightning, heavy storms), we’ll contact you to reschedule or issue a refund.
Light rain is usually not a problem — dress accordingly. The final call is always made with your safety in mind.
What should I bring with me?
We recommend:
- Hat and sunglasses
- Sunscreen and weather-appropriate clothing
- Drinks and snacks (we provide cooler space)
- Phone or camera for photos
- Texas fishing license (ages 17+)
Optional: A small cooler to take your cleaned catch home.
Can kids come on the trip?
Absolutely! We specialize in family-friendly fishing and love taking kids on the water. Trips are safe, comfortable, and designed to keep children engaged and learning. All kids must be accompanied by an adult.
What kind of fish will we catch?
Depending on the time of year and your preferences, we target:
- White Bass
- Hybrid Striped Bass
- Crappie
- Catfish
We’ll discuss what’s biting and tailor the trip to your goals.
Can I request to fish for a specific species?
Yes! Visit our Target Species Page to learn more. We’re happy to build your trip around one or two species, especially during full-day charters.
How many people can come on a trip?
We accommodate up to 4 guests per trip. This ensures a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience for everyone on board.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that things come up. See our cancellation policy below for full details.
