Why Book

Why Book a Full-Day Fishing Trip?

While half-day trips are fun and flexible, a full-day charter gives you the time and space to truly unwind and enjoy all that Lake Somerville has to offer.

With a full eight hours on the water, we can adapt to fish behavior, weather patterns, and change spots as needed. If the white bass bite slows, we’ll switch to crappie or target deeper catfish. Flexibility is the name of the game.

More Time = More Opportunities

A full-day trip allows us to target different species in different parts of the lake — giving you a broader fishing experience and a mixed cooler by the end of the day.

Multiple Species

No need to rush. We build in time for learning, breaks, lunch on the boat, or simply cruising to scenic spots. It's a true escape from the daily grind.

 Slower Pace, Less Pressure

Families with kids love full-day trips because they’re not rushed. Kids can take breaks, explore the boat, or try new techniques without feeling pressed for time.

Target Fish for Full-Day Trips

Depending on the season and lake activity, your full-day trip may include fishing for:

A person fishing. A fish is hooked on the line.

White Bass

Aggressive and fun to catch — perfect for numbers and fast action.

Hybrid Striped Bass

Hard-hitting and strong fighters, these fish are a challenge worth chasing. The extra time on a full-day charter increases your chances of hooking into one.

Crappie

A favorite for eating and consistent bites, especially when we fish brush piles and structure.

Catfish

Whether drifting or anchored, we often spend part of the day targeting catfish when the bite is right.

Let Steve know your goals — we’ll shape the day around what you’d like to catch.
